2016-2017

In its 2nd year of operation, Newcastle International branched off from the Student Councils to effectively distribute the workload between each campus to achieve better outcomes for the students.
The new organisational structure of Newcastle International involves a Core Committee and Event-Specific Committees (that of which comprises of a Host Campus and Participating Campuses).
The Core Committee, made up of aspiring students as well as representatives from Student Unions of all campuses, will plan and decide on events by Newcastle International for said academic year.
The agreed events will then have their own Event-Specific Committees with students of the Host Campus as members working alongside the Core Committee to carry out said event.
For the academic year 2016-2017, it has been agreed that Newcastle International will carry out only one event,
Newcastle International: Change-makers of Tomorrow, with Malaysia being the Host Campus. The Core and Event-Specific Committees for the year is as follows:
