EqualiD is an application which allows the digitalisation of physical student cards and in tandem with the EqualiD QR reader offers universities the ability to monitor student attendance. Attendance data is used to provide donations (as a reservation of prepaid fees) to the charity based on how often a student is present at their timetabled sessions. The money raised by students through EqualiD will be used to address the gender gap in developing countries' educational systems, by providing the funds for young women to attend secondary school. This is in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals of achieving both gender and educational equality.
